The Challenge

Rhino Manufacturing is a Rotorua based manufacturer of truck and trailer mudguards. Rhino have a great reputation and strong customer base within New Zealand. They have strong orders from repeat customers and many new customers hear of them through word of mouth or organic search results.

Rhino Manufacturing are building their business as they develop new markets and products. To do this, they would like to redevelop and strengthen their online presence and start taking e-commerce orders.

Our Approach

To support Rhino’s business expansion plans, Dubzz recommended a two-stage online marketing plan to improve their online presence, brand awareness and build sales opportunities.

The first stage was to build a new website which was custom designed to meet their current needs, as well as be adaptable for future growth. The new site showcases the professionalism and capabilities of the business to existing and new international markets. The focus of the site is promoting Rhino’s unique selling points such as their quality, wide range, ability to customise products and their quick turnaround times. The site is easy to adapt and change, and e-commerce features will be implemented in the near future, in line with Rhino’s initial needs.

After the website had gone live, the second stage of the plan was to implement an ongoing digital sales strategy that is flexible and scalable as they begin to target more markets. The campaign utilises multiple channels and is supported by website optimisations that work cohesively to deliver measurable results. Dubzz and Rhino conducted detailed audience research, and results are tracked to provide recommendations and optimise campaigns.

The Results

The new Rhino Manufacturing website has recently gone live and received a 52% increase in visits in the first full month. The Rhino team are already receiving enquiries through the contact form and are seeing great engagement throughout the site; in the first full month we recorded dozens of conversions, including quote requests, phone calls, contact form submissions and sign ups. The site itself is easy for the Rhino team to update with new text, images, and products as they become available.
